His experience across large infrastructure projects, aerospace and defence programs, innovation promotion initiatives and investment development (capability and capacity) includes being involved in policy development, program design, delivery and performance assessment.
Internationally sought after as a consultant in early-stage ecosystems, Jordan is a Silicon Valley software veteran, co-founder of a top-performing VC fund in Australia, founder of the Australian organised Angel investor community, Founder & President Emeritus of Melbourne Angels, one of the longest-running and most active start-up investor groups in the country. Internationally, he is a Trustee of the Angel Resource Institute (USA), Chairman of the Asian Business Angel Forum, former High Commissioner for Australia to the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF), Australian Delegate to the Global Business Angel Network (GBAN), and more.
Jordan was founding member of the SME Special Interest Committee for the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and is a longstanding member and Chairman of an Industry Advisory Group for the University of Melbourne where he is an Honorary Fellow. Jordan is Chairman of private equity fund manager AxleTree Capital, investing in sustainability; he serves as non-executive director for private companies, is Victorian Chairman of the Pearcey Foundation and serves on its national board, as well as being a Fellow of the Institute for Integrated Economic Research – Australia. He is a successful serial founder, successful venture capitalist, successful Angel investor, always an Electronics Engineer, a passionate adviser to the brightest minds and an eternal optimist.
